Alli

You have probably heard about Alli – the ”first” FDA-approved diet pill available without a prescription. Alli is actually a low-dose version of Xenical, a prescription drug that successfully assists obese individuals losing weight. Xenical is taken under a doctor’s care while following a low-calorie, low-fat diet. Alli has the same active ingredient (Orlistat), but in a much lower dosage, and is available without the prescription.

Alli can help you lose a few pounds more than just dieting and exercise alone. It works by suppressing the body’s ability to absorb fat in the intestines. By reducing fat, you reduce calories. When the body is unable to absorb these fats they become undigested waste.

While some may view Alli as a controversial solution to weight loss, the manufacturers of this product have gone to great lengths to offer a comprehensive program to its users in order to make weight loss as easy and approachable as possible.

alliWhy is Alli ‘Controversial’?

Well there are thousands upon thousands of customers who have literally crapped their pants while taking Alli. If you have a diet that contains any fat what so ever, that fat will probably leak out of  your butt. And, if was me and my bad luck, it would happen at work or out on a date. There are tons of funny spoof videos about alli’s side effects.

The thing that I don’t get is that Alli says you have to have a diet extremely low in fat in order to lose weight and not have any ‘’side effects”. Well, if you go from a diet that contains a lot of fat and go to a less fatty diet, won’t you lose weight anyways? Is it the Alli or your low fat diet that is helping you lose weight? Why risk crapping your pants with alli and just change your diet?
